The Engineers Club, established in 1905, is one of Baltimore’s oldest private city club. Located in the historic Garrett Jacobs Mansion in the heart of Mt Vernon, our Club is ideal for entertaining, conducting business or socializing with other members.

Membership has its perks...

You will find The Engineers Club offers each of its members a relaxed environment featuring gracious service and wonderful food. Additionally, our Reciprocal Club roster currently includes over 90 exceptional private Clubs throughout the US and abroad, and is updated regularly to meet our members’ traveling needs.

The Club has many special events scheduled throughout the year that our members and their guests can enjoy. Such events include Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter & Fall Harvest Brunches, Charity Galas, Wine Dinners and Spring Dances; Prelude dinners before Theater Performances, as well as informal events such as Wine Society Meetings, Monthly Networking Events and Family Crab Feasts.

Application Process

At this time, there is no waiting list to join The Engineers Club. One hundred very active new members joined the Club in the past year alone. We have a revitalized and growing membership, an active Capital Campaign to renovate the Mansion, expanded programs and an optimistic future. Now more than ever, The Engineers Club is a vibrant reflection of all that is great about our City and the greater Baltimore region.

Membership Criteria

Membership is open to all qualifying professionals. The Engineers Club is a 501(c)7 Not For Profit Social Club, and does not discriminate against any person based on gender, sexual orientation, race, color or religion. Prospective members are eligible upon proper application, subscription, or payment, and are reviewed by the Board of Directors at their monthly meetings. Membership begins on the first of the month following such meeting.
